Email marketing is a great way to get your business in Atlanta noticed. Of course it all comes down to how many opt-ins you have for your digital marketing campaign and how many of those subscribers can be converted into real, money spending customers. Email lists are constantly changing as clients email addresses change, people opt out and so on. If you want to insure you always have a growing and healthy database you will need to find creative ways to grow your email marketing list.

While there are many ways in which you can encourage new signups for your email marketing, we focus on just four:

  • Opt in box – create an opt-in box so that potentially interested subscribers can start receiving your emails. Ensure you make this opt-in box available in a variety of places. All emails sent should have an opt-out feature too, while you might not want to lose potential readers, you want to let them decide for themselves if they want to stay in touch.
  • Incentive – everyone likes incentive and it’s a great way to get people to join your mailing list. If you offer sign up discounts, vouchers, special reports and helpful advice, you will win over your subscribers with relative ease.
  • Subscribe via check out – if you sell products via your website you can include a check box that customers can use to subscribe to your newsletter or emails when they check out. Make this offer of interest to your client by presenting some form of benefit for subscribing, for example “subscribe to our newsletter to keep up to date with great discounts and specials” and similar, are a great way to earn the interest of your target audience.
  • Competitions – this is a great way to gather the email addresses of people who are specifically interested in your products or services. Make sure the prize is something your business offers and include your newsletter signup as part of the entry process.

Why an email marketing campaign is important for your business

Email marketing is an advertising tool that has certainly stood the test of time. We live in a digital world where everyone is online and connected. If you want to make sure you reach your target audience and provide them with something to refer back to, email marketing is the way to go.

Email marketing is a quick, simple and affordable way to offer your target market something of value. You can personalize and customize your emails according to age groups, demographics or even different product types and reach a specific audience with each batch sent out. Emails are also an action orientated digital marketing strategy which means your target audience will either click through, forward or read the content.
